The Thung Demon is a monster designed by Neal Pass Erickson.
Thung Demons are Hairless and skinless emaciated dog-like creatures. They have discoloured bony plates that protrude from their joints. Their jaws are hanging unhinged. They have a row of spikes that run down it's spine to its tail.
Zweihard Blacksteel saw them extend tendrils from their mouths, but other encounters after this, the Thung did not have this ability.
Habitat/Society[]
These canine-like demons appear to have dog-like intellect and travel in packs. They will hunt down prey and eat it where it is slain.
Ecology[]
The 2nd Material Plane appears to lack any ecology except for the demons themselves. The Thung travel in packs but appear to have a level of domestication due to their obedience to larger demons.

Thungs have a level of fire resistance.
When Thungs bite a target they keep hold of them in a "grapple" state, allowing larger demons to hit the target easier.
