The party are in Shenanigans when Desmond "hires" the party to get some goats from the Spice Isles for a woman named Gen who can't drink anything other than goat milk or tea.
The party set out north along the road from Bergshire. 6 hours into the day they come across a Goblin Stage-show off the side of the road. No one in the party can speak the goblin language, so the play's meaning eludes them. In the audience were 2 humans, a dwarf and a hooded man.
The party keep traveling. The next day they come across a wagon accident. A clay wagon heading north and a vace wagon heading south had hit one another. Mek decides to arbitrate between the two sides. Admiral Jai however calm down the two wagon drivers when he shifts the blame to the Baroness not making the roads wider.
The party get to Kurshwikk and organise help for Vace Wagon since it had broke an axel.
That night Kel Lorebringer asks around town for information on where goats can be found in the spice isles to no success.
The next day the party discover that goats are being sold just north of town. Mek tries to cast a spell in town to read a man's mind, but gets in trouble with the local law, since casting spells inside a town is very suspicious. Mek is almost taken to jail but Kel Lorebringer steps in to save him. The party then go buy 3 goats from Goat McGoatface in exchange for some silver and a sign.
The party head back to Bergshire without incident. Desmond admits he was just trying to get Admiral Jai and Mek out of Shenanigans for a while which is why he told the party to go all the way to the Spice Isles.
The hooded man from the Goblin Stageshow comes up to the party and asks them about Gen, the one who wanted the goat milk, and creepily asks the party to bring her to him. Kel Lorebringer finds the situation suspicious. The hooded man eventually admits he has the exact same allergy as her and wonders if she is his lost mother, so was going to put her and the party though some elaborate tests and traps. Kel Lorebringer explains to the hooded man he should just go talk with her instead of all these mind games. The hooded man agrees and leaves.
Later a cheese merchant, Bontemeu Merrick III comes into Shenanigans saying he thinks his cheese has been poisoned. Mek casts detect poison and is able to remove the poisoned cheese from the cart. The merchant thanks Mek, then takes the poisoned cheese to the Sheriff as evidence.
Gen comes back into Shenanigans and says she was attacked by a hooded man. The party help her go to the Sheriff so he can deal with this matter. Later the Sheriff captures the wrong man and has him tar & feathered.
The party then hang out in Shenanigans. Various people join their table and chat with them, including an old man, the man who was tar & feathered (Brown), the pottery wagon driver, and a man named Seth who is a huge fan of Mek. The party end the day stargazing.
The next day a cleric of Astair comes into Shenanigans saying the world could end in 2 days, and all should repent their sins. Admiral Jai and Kel Lorebringer confess their sins, while Mek doesn't have to since he has no understanding of the situation.
