Recap[]

It is night time and Arty is asleep in his jailcell in the Bergshire Sheriff's Office. Then he is awaken by lightning and thunder and his cell door is open. Arty then notices the sheriff and a deputy is dead. On the all, written in blood is TIME TO REMEMBER ARTY. Arty then hears the sound of children giggling. Arty flees to the front door the Sheriff's Office, but it is locked. Arty looks back and see 2 spectral gnome children standing over the dead bodies. The ghosts take eyeballs out of the dead bodies. Arty flees out of a window.

Arty flees down the street of Bergshire. He makes it to Shenanigans in silent terror, hearing the sound of children chanting behind him in the rain.

Parents Day[]

Inside Shenanigans Arty discovers it is parents day. The parents of the adventurers are visiting. The Wrok, Maximilian, and Sparky's parents are there. Arty rushes over to Desmond and in a panic explains what happened.

The party really don't want to help out Arty, especially Maximilian. Arty in a panic insults The Wrok's Mother, The Boulder, and flees back to the jail, making everyone follow him. It is a dry night outside with no sign of rain having ever occurred. Before they get to the Sheriff's Station. The Boulder catches up with Arty before he get to the Sheriff's Station and dunks him in an empty rain barrel.

The party decide to go investigate the sheriff's station with Arty. At the sheriff's station everything is normal. The very much alive deputy says that Arty was released from jail 2 weeks ago. His release was paid for. Arty insists they check to see if the Sheriff is still alive.

The party visit the Sheriff and find that he is alive and well. The Sheriff says Arty's release was paid for by someone in a dark cloak called Mr Anne Mouse. A whole 1000g was paid.

They party decide to investigate this lead in the morning when the Bank is open. Arty doesn't want to be alone, so pays to stay in Sparky's room.

The Classroom[]

Late in the night Arty is woken by a bell. Arty realises he is in his own room and not Sparky's room somehow. Arty leaves his room and goes downstairs and see that the Shenanigans Tavern has been converted into a classroom full of Gnome Children and his old 3rd Grade teacher, Mrs Crabapple. Mrs Crabapple says today the class will be choosing their musical instruments. Arty then throws a stone at Mrs Crabapple but misses. The second sling hits her in the forehead. Mrs Crabapple's forehead starts to bleed but she doesn't react, but insists that Arty take his seat. Arty flees from Shenanigans and runs to the Sheriff's House.

Arty wakes up the Sheriff, claiming there was a murder at Shenanigans. The Sheriff comes to Shenanigans with Arty. When they get back to Shenanigans, there are no gnomes but dead kobolds sitting at the tables, nailed into potion. One Kobold has been turned into a marionette at the counter, acting as the teacher.

Arty manages to wake up the party and Desmond. Arty is initially blamed for this situation, but Arty points out he isn't tall enough to pull it off, and he doesn't have blood on him. Desmond gets the party to clean up the mess regardless. The Sheriff leaves since he doesn't care that Kobolds were killed.

As the party clean, they notice something on Arty is glowing. On his chest, in the Wizard Mark spell, is written "Back to the Sunny Vale". Arty casts Remove Curse on himself but nothing changes.

Maximilian finds some silence spells have been cast upstairs in the parents rooms, but they are just fading away one by one now.

Breakfast[]

The party wake up for parents breakfast, but none of their parents come downstairs for breakfast. Maximilian goes upstairs and finds his parents have gone missing. All the party's parents have gone missing. On the wall is scratched Sunnyvale.

There are tracks with people with giant fleet that lead outside then abruptly stop. Lizzy identifies Griffon tracks outside.

The party head to The Second Bank of DESEW to see Mr Potts, the Bank Manager. Arty explains about the anonymous person who bailed him out of jail. Arty however freaks out and explains the weird ghosts he has been seeing, and the party get kicked out of the bank.

The party decide to head to the Sunny Vale.

The Sunny Vale[]

The party arrive at the Sunny Vale. It is an expensive gnome community. A gnome, Warbler, comes up to Arty claiming to be a old classmate of Arty's, but Arty doesn't remember him. The party go with Warbler and look in the yearbook. Arty is in the photo.

Of the 10 gnomes in the photo, 4 have disappeared (the ones who were Arty's friends), 4 are successful and rich, and Warbler is a sanitation engineer. Arty is suspicious and casts Mind Read. Warbler is jealous of his successful classmates.

Arty becomes more and more incoherent at the situation and eventually tries to attack Warbler. Arty misses his attack and Warbler kicks the party out of his house.

The party go to Grennifer, the classmate who got rich and started the gryphon hiring service, to see who hired gryphon to Bergshire yesterday. The party find out that 10 gryphons and 1 roc were hired by another of Arty's classmates, Berthilda, who is a freelance wizard who now owns a flying castle.

The fly over to the flying castle and land in the courtyard. In the courtyard are some well dressed Ogres. Arty announces himself to the Ogres. Arty is expected and let inside to a waiting area. Berthilda confronts Arty, saying that she spoke with Arty but he didn't remember wronging her, so she erased his memories of the past 2 weeks to force him to remember what he forgot. Arty however still doesn't remember.

Berthilda says that back in school Arty chose the tuba that she wanted to play. Berthilda was going to choose the tuba as a child, but Arty's friends held Berthilda down while Arty chose the tuba. Berthilda swore revenge and became an Arc Mage. Arty apologizes for taking the tuba and Berthilda releases the party's families.
