Characters[]
Neal: 3 new characters: Sky a surfer bro. Little Jimmy a villager kid. Kai the cook who needs more spices.
Anna: Fran is here to pay a debt (borrowed someone's horse named Neal), Anna's 2 new characters is Lucky Jo the farmer (with a dog named Anna and inherited the dog Rachel) and Babs the Brewer.
Gen: Redreh is in town on temporary profession work. Growl A Bless lives in town too. Gen's new character is Streje Dude the jester.
Rachel: Agnes is in town selling chests (has a dog named Steven). Beverly lives in town. Dunnaetouché is a 12 year old seasonal worker. (Rachel has 3 living characters from last session obtains no new ones characters.)
Recap[]
The party are inside the ruined keep outside hamlet of Oakwell. The keep has proven itself to be a very lethal local. The party is joined by 7 new companions, including a Frewalt, scholar to Zotulla, Haruspex of the Vexing Skull (NPC). Frewalt, a dandy, introduces himself to everyone and asks them to complete his quest for him, a certain Gold Ring of 75 gold. The party is reluctant to accept the dangerous task for Frewalt. Inside a cloak Frewalt finds a secret piece of paper inside a cloak from Sky. On the piece of paper is a room with a skull icon. Dunnaetouché finds hidden text on the map that says "Press Skulls for Plants".
Streje Dude finds out that his cousin Frog Dude has died, so writes a song in his honor.

The Gatehouse[]
The party continue onwards and see 5 twisted villagers in the room above the gate. The twisted villagers give taunting gestures towards the party. Kai and Sky moves forward and attack one of twisted villagers killing them. Fran & Lucky Jo both move in to attack as well, killing one as well. Streje Dude throws a powerful dart blow at one of the Twisted Villagers.
The remaining Twisted Villagers attack the party, killing Lucky Joe and Kai. Little Jimmy fires his bow, finishing off a the Twisted Villager. The dogs Anna & Rachel get revenge for the death of Lucky Joe. Fran goes to attack a twisted villager but fumbles and trips over. Dunnaetouché hits a Twisted Villager with an attack. The last twisted villager then slays the Beverly. Sky slays the last twisted Villager.

Gatehouse Aftermath[]
The party explore the gatehouse now the threats are dealt with. The room is in ruins. From their new vantage points out of the window they see a fountain against the east ruins, and a better view on the landslide. The fountain is black water pouring out of a squatting toad. Also in the ruins are burnt dead bodies.
Ruined Chapel[]
The party go to the door outside the east ruins. The door to the ruins has "repent" written in blood with a beam barring it closed. In front of the door Streje Dude repents for not being there for Frog Dude when he needed him. The door doesn't open. Little Jimmy tries to open the door, but it is barred shut from the inside. Streje Dude unbars the door.
Inside the ruins is a ruined chappel, destroyed by fire, with 6 burnt skeletons. From the fountain ichor flows from the angry toad with the word "BOBUGBUBILZ" engraved on the fountain. Streja assumes Bobugbubilz is a distant cousin. 3 of the skeletons have chainmail & maces or flail. Inside Streja bows before the statue, then minics the pose of the fountain, then goes to put 1 gold coin on the toad's head. Streja finds the room still feels heat coming from the fountain. Streje places the coin and a pseudopod comes from the fountain and takes the coin. From the fountain a ooze comes out. Streje Dude backs off, but the tar ooze attacks with pseudopods.
Little Jimmy shots an arrow at the tar ooze, but the arrow burns up after hitting the ooze. Streje throws is last dart, striking true. Agnes sends in Steven the dog to attack the ooze. Dunnaetouché attacks the tar ooze with a dagger. Fran sends in Rachel & Rachel the dogs, then hits the ooze with her staff, defeating the ooze.
The party loot the chainmail, 3 maces and flail. Sky, Dunnaetouché, & Growl A Bless take a chainmail armor (+5 AC) each (worth 150 gold each). Fran breaks over a treasure chest and takes the treasure inside. Streje Dude is unhappy when the party pry 10 gemstones from the toad fountain.
Down into the Dungeon[]
The party head down the stairs into the underground level, Little Jimmy going down the stairs first since he is trying to impress Dunnaetouché. Down the stairs Little Jimmy finds a secret door with 3 upended treasure chests inside. Little Jimmy loots some coins on the ground and shares it with Dunnaetouché. Little Jimmy thinks he triggers a trap and leaps on Dunnaetouché to protect her, but no trap goes off. Dunnaetouché storms off. Little Jimmy keeps working on finding secret compartment and barely avoids being stabbed by a blade trap. Inside is a silk tabard with a sigil of chaos on it, 2 rings with emeralds in it, and a silver vial with black liquid inside. Babs takes the vial.
Little Jimmy and Redreh lead the well down stairs. There is a symbol on the door at the bottom. Dunnaetouché is able to read the symbol on the door.

This text is from when the armies of order sealed the magical items & curses of chaos. Dunnaetouché thinks it is a warning and tells everyone. Little Jimmy doesn't heed the warning and tries to opens the door, but it is too heavy for him. Dunnaetouché tells off Little Jimmy for trying to open the sealed door.
The party head down the main passageway and sees a wooden door and the end. Dunnaetouché opens the wooden door and the party enter and see a room with a pool inside and a mural with a skull on the side. The party figure it has to do with the map they found. Redreh pushes the skull and seed comes out of the wall. The seed looks like the ones from the bodies controlled by the Vine Horrors outside. Redreh drops the seed into the pool of water. Redreh presses more skulls in the mural and more seeds come out.
A skull comes out of the pool of water and looks at Little Jimmy. Little Jimmy picks up the skull. The skulls eyes glow brighter and brighter green as he does in a certain direction. Little Jimmy leads the party down some stairs to the shore of an underground sea. hundreds of feet away is a ziggurat pyramid, with a burning lights on it. Dozens of twisted villagers are marching up the pyramid, escorting unmutated villagers. A person on top of the pyramid kicks villagers into a pit.
A dragon browed long ship is in the water off the shore, with the eyes of the dragon glowing green. Little Jimmy wades to the ship but gets scared by a tentacle monster and runs back to shore. The tentacles resemble the ones in the mural. Redreh commands the tentacles from the top of the standing stone to retrieve the boat. Redreh then lights a red candle on top of the standing stone and the boat docks against the standing stone magically. The tentacles circle under the boat. Redreh steps onto the ship.
