March 1st 1512 (day 61)[]
Tasloi by Wayne England
The Santa Barbara Town Council are in the Avocado Jungle of death, resting for the night, having fought off some tasloi earlier in the day.
March 2nd 1512 (day 62)[]
The party sneak after the tasloi down river. They hide by moving under water and using reeds to breath. After a bend in the river, the party spot a brand new fully built keep and spot some tasloi on the walls.
The party sneak up towards the keep, but are spotted by a lookout in a nearby tree. The lookout raises an alarm by screeching loudly. Kanon D. B'aal firebolts two nearby lookouts to death. The party continue to sneak to the walls.
Once at at the keep walls, Lili climbs up and lowers a rope for the party. The rest of the party enter the keep and begin their slaughter of the tasloi inside.
After an intense battle, only one tasloi remains. As it flees, Governor Daffodil viciously mocks it for fleeing when its allies died with honor in battle. In a rage, it turns to face him. The rest of the party hold off on their attacks, as it jumps at the governor, knocking him out in one attack.
Kanon firebolts the last tasloi to death. However Governor Daffodil lies on the ground unconscious. Private Po Tato bandages the Governor's wounds. The party are in the courtyard of the keep with many dead tasloi.
The party hide in the stables in the courtyard. Governor Daffodil recovers and promotes Po Tato back to the rank of Captain.
March 3rd 1512 (day 63)[]
After the party rest for the night, they go to the door to the keep. There is a sun shaped impression on the door. Governor Daffodil uses the sun shield on the impression and the door opens, tearing the sun off his shield.
The party search the castle and finds no one inside. Kanon casts Detect Magic and finds the whole castle is radiating summoning magic. On the outside wall of the keep is the word "Cachuma". The party inspects the well of the keep and see it goes down to an underground river. Also in the underground cavern is a giant spider and many webs.
Lili goes down on a rope down the well. Once in the underground cavern Lili is attacked by the giant venomous spider. Before the rest of the party pull the rope to bring Lili back up, the Giant Venomous Spider poisons her and traps her in a web. Captain Po Tato dives down the well and stabs the spider but then falls into the underwater river. Governor Daffodil dives down as well, and lands on the ground below the spider.
Kanon ties off the rope and goes down the well on a floating disc. The party fight with the giant venomous spider. Eventually the spider is killed. During the fight, Kanon is knocked out and stabilized by Governor Daffodil. When Kanon wakes up, the party leave the cavern.
