Capital: Keldoram
Towns: Tharnham, Mil Faldur
Borders: Hemdorkas Hills
Eridon Annexation[]
The Human nation of Eridon, at one stage in history, annexed the Hemdorkas Hills into their territories as a County. Unlike Gadia, the Hill Dwarves were allowed to keep their old title structures. During this process Keldoram became the County seat, and it's leader is technically a Count, but locally called the High Thane.
Prior to Annexation the three dwarven towns were united. There were cultural differences between Mil Faldur in the East, and Tharnham & Keldoram in the west. Hillsborough is culturally related to the Mil Faldur dwarves, but was placed in Wake County.
Major Events[]
- 1508: Hemdorkas Incursion: An invasion by Grell. The human Kingdom of Eridon sent their army to aid the dwarves in driving off these invaders.
- 1509-1510: Demon Invasion of Eridon: The Demons from the Demon Homeworld invaded Eridon. While the invasion never entered Dwarf County, the invasion caused the Human Kingdom to fall.
Independance Again[]
In 1511, the Dwarves made moves to declare their land as a new independent Kingdom, but problems from the Orcs, Hobgoblins, and returning Grell, had delayed any unification of the land.
These matters were resolved well enough by 1512 that the Dwarven Federation was formed. (Desperate Measures 12) The Dwarven Federation included all three Dwarven Towns in the Hemdorkas Hills, but not Hillsborough which was part of the new Redport Kingdom.
