History[]
Doubi was raised by Squirrels in the forest. She lost her brother Bidou early in her life and never saw him again. She learned Common later on, as one of her best Squirrel buddies turned out to also be a shape-shifter. His name was Pleatmut. Doubi lost her clanmates during the latest war for territory against the evil Weasel Clan. After that, Doubi was stranded and went on to look for a new family. This is how she ended up here today.
Personality[]
Personality: curiosity, social anxiety. Will be courageous for the promise of food or anything that strikes her interest (loves oddities).
Enemies of squirrels: red foxes, wild cats, domestic cats, domestic dogs, owls, eagles, pine martins and other birds.
Defensive squirrel tactics: when a carnivore attacks, quickly dart for a nearby tree and climb, hiding in the branches or leaping from tree to tree. Stay close to trees at all times. Run in a zig-zag motion to confuse the predator.
Seasonal 'caching' is preparing for winter time (food hoarding). Chunking: Organize nuts and other items collected in an orderly fashion: by quality, variety and preference. Walnuts are the bomb. Sometimes forget buried items and they grow into trees.
Primary alimentation: nuts, seeds, berries, fungus, insects.
Other: will bark when people get into her territory. Highly vocal and territorial.
